Get to Know Us

Founded in 1966 by esteemed dance educator Madge Simone Alessi, Simone Dance Studio began in a modest Trenton storefront and quickly became a cornerstone of dance education in Central New Jersey. For nearly six decades, Simone Dance has nurtured generations of dancers through a tradition of artistic excellence and personal mentorship.

Now under the direction of her daughter, accomplished choreographer and instructor Dena Simone Frascella, the studio continues to thrive—serving over 300 students and home to a nationally recognized company of 60+ dancers.

Simone Dance alumni have gone on to perform on Broadway, with Disney in the U.S. and Japan, and with collegiate and professional dance teams. Many are still dancing today—and all trace their roots back to Simone.

At Simone Dance Studio, we believe that dance is more than movement—it's a powerful foundation for life. Our mission is to nurture strong, confident, and expressive individuals through exceptional dance education that emphasizes physical strength, grace, posture, rhythm, and poise.

We are committed to creating a warm, professional environment where students of all ages receive high-caliber instruction typically found in major metropolitan centers—right here in our community.

Our dedicated faculty combines deep technical training with a passion for mentorship, guiding each dancer to discover their unique potential and artistry.
